Bringing an independent documentary to theaters demonstrates the desire to expand the dialogue about Vietnamese identity to many audiences, reaching more young audiences who are interested in in-depth cultural products.

The crew hopes the film will evoke values and connect people together at a time when sharing and empathy are more important than ever.

The documentary Brilliant Horizon promises to lead the audience into a profound story about patriotism, homeland and Vietnamese identity, told through music and new ideas that seem to go against familiar notions of origin.

The choice to release the film on December 12 is also very special. This is the time when Ha Anh Tuan kicks off the Rose music night - a special version of the Sketch a rose concert series that will take place in Da Lat on January 17.

Before its release, at the 2025 Vietnam Film Festival, the film was awarded the jury prize in the documentary category and was nominated for Outstanding Sound Design.

The film will be officially released from December 12 to 21 at Galaxy Cinema, BHD and Lotte stores nationwide.
