The 11th season of the VBA marks a new milestone.

The 11th season of the Vietnam Professional Basketball League (VBA) in 2026 marks the beginning of a new phase of development with the message "Where talent reaches legendary status".

This season, starting in May, will continue with the 5x5 home-and-away format, featuring six teams: Hanoi Buffaloes – the defending champions, Nha Trang Dolphins – the runners-up, Danang Dragons, Ho Chi Minh City Wings, Saigon Heat, and Cantho Catfish.

VBA enters into a comprehensive strategic partnership withFPT Play for five consecutive seasons, from 2026 to 2030.

The season promises to continue bringing the fiery atmosphere of basketball to many fan locations, strongly spreading the spirit of top-level sportsmanship in major cities.

To bring basketball even closer to young audiences nationwide, the VBA announced a comprehensive strategic partnership with FPT Play, appointing the latter to produce and broadcast all VBA games for five consecutive seasons, from 2026 to 2030.

VBA is the next sports league that FPT Play will cover for an extended period, following the official announcement of owning the broadcasting rights for the English Premier League from January 1, 2026, until the end of the 2030/31 season.
