A panoramic view of Mount Ba Den, seen from lush green rice fields dotted with palm trees. Mount Ba Den, the "foremost mountain of the heavens," stands at 986 meters and is considered the "roof" of Southern Vietnam. It is a national historical site and scenic spot. These photos were taken by photographer Nguyen Tan Tuan, who currently lives and works in Ho Chi Minh City, during his visits home.

Mount Ba Den is one of the most famous spiritual tourist destinations. Visitors ascend the mountain by cable car to visit historical sites and ancient temples such as Linh Son Tien Thach Tu, Hang Pagoda, and Dien Ba, and hear the legend of Linh Son Thanh Mau, also known as Ba Den, who is worshipped in a stone cave.
The Ba Den Mountain cable car opened in early 2020. It has two lines: the Van Son line takes visitors from the foot of the mountain to the summit, and the Chua Hang line connects the foot of the mountain to Ba Den Pagoda. With an area of 10,959 m2, the cable car station has been recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world's largest cable car station. A round-trip cable car ticket to the summit of Ba Den Mountain costs 100,000 VND for visitors taller than 1.4m and is half price for children between 1m and 1.4m tall.
