Despite not considering Vietnam a worthy opponent, South Korean fans still sought tickets for the friendly match at Suwon World Cup Stadium, with the highest price reaching 300,000 won (approximately 5.5 million VND).

As of 7 PM on October 15th, the organizers only had about 1,400 tickets left, while the Suwon stadium has a capacity of 44,031 seats. According to Korean media, tickets are highly likely to sell out quickly as the match is still two days away.

For 300,000 won, spectators can sit in the middle of the first tier of Stand A, enjoy a buffet meal, and receive a South Korean national team jersey. Those in the adjacent area, with tickets costing 200,000 won, will receive a South Korean national team scarf and a glow stick.
Tickets for other sections range in seven price tiers from 30,000 won to 120,000 won depending on seating location. Tickets are only distributed through the website or ticketing app of the Korea Football Association (KFA), or an app from the bank sponsoring the match.
Ticket prices for this match are lower than when South Korea played Tunisia on October 13th at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, which has a capacity of 66,704 seats. The two highest-priced tickets then cost 380,000 won and 220,000 won. The remaining ticket categories ranged from 30,000 won to 180,000 won across 10 price points.

South Korea is ranked 26th in FIFA, 69 places higher than Vietnam. The match has sparked debate in South Korea, with doubts about the effectiveness of facing a much lower-ranked opponent, but some argue it will be good preparation for the second round of World Cup 2026 qualifiers and the 2023 Asian Cup. In addition, the availability of star player Son Heung-min is uncertain due to his recent recovery from a groin injury.
