Recently, some information circulating online stated that many shops and areas in the Icon68 Shopping and Service Center, located in the Bitexco Financial Tower at 2 Hai Trieu Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, have closed, vacated, or temporarily suspended operations. On February 23rd, a representative from Bitexco Financial Tower confirmed that the above information is inaccurate, as some areas of the building have ceased operations for renovation and upgrading to provide exceptional global experiences for customers.

According to representatives from Bitexco Financial Tower, as part of the repositioning plan, luxury restaurants will be opened there, aiming to provide unique experiences for the high-end and elite clientele that Bitexco Financial Tower is targeting.

According to the plan, Bitexco Financial Tower will undergo upgrades and renovations starting in the first quarter of 2023, with some sections expected to be operational again in the second quarter of 2023.

Currently, the operations departments are working closely with foreign experts to develop an upgrade and repositioning plan to maintain its status as an A+ premium office building, befitting its status as an iconic landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and a popular tourist destination.
