On the morning of June 16th, in Hanoi , Vibotics Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of HTI Group, officially launched Veronica, an AI-integrated chatbot tool, with the ambition to develop an AI created by Vietnamese people and specifically for Vietnamese people.
Mr. Do Tuan Anh, Director of Vibotics Joint Stock Company, introduced the Veronica AI chatbot at the launch ceremony on June 16th.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Do Tuan Anh, Director of Vibotics, said that the initial goal of building Veronica was not to create an AI similar to ChatGPT, but simply an AI capable of competing.
"With the motto of developing an AI by Vietnamese people, for Vietnamese people, the algorithms we use focus on best serving Vietnamese users," Mr. Do Tuan Anh emphasized.
Introducing Veronica, he stated that, in addition to data collection, this AI chatbot can also assess the accuracy of the data, filtering out all negative information such as racism, obscene content, and information opposing the Vietnamese Party, Government , and State, thereby guiding it to become an AI serving the legitimate purposes of the Vietnamese people.
Veronica is now available on the App Store and Google Play. Users can use it immediately after downloading without needing to register. If using Veronica on the web, you need to log in with your Gmail account. It will be completely free to use in the near future.
Integrating natural language processing (NLP) models and the Chat Hunter model developed and copyrighted by Vibotics, Veronica is capable of communicating in a language as closely as possible to a human, understanding over 140 input languages and providing responses in Vietnamese through natural language processing.
“Veronica can understand the context of the Vietnamese language. Because it's a product built for Vietnamese people, when applying input elements and analyzing output elements, we focus on making the final answer as easy to understand as possible for Vietnamese people,” said the Director of Vibotics.
According to Mr. Do Tuan Anh, in addition to its text creation capabilities, the Veronica chatbot can also create high-resolution images based on prompts.
The head of Vibotics stated that, because this software was developed for Vietnamese users, the company focused on enhancing the user experience and ensuring that interactions with Veronica were entirely in pure Vietnamese, something that most other chatbots haven't been able to do well.

Also at the launch event, Mr. Do Tuan Anh shared some of Veronica's applications, such as integration into enterprise customer service (24/7 support, product consultation, etc.); healthcare (support for diagnosis, disease prediction, symptom recognition, etc.); education (student attendance tracking, teaching assistance, etc.); smart homes (automatic device on/off, guest identification, etc.); energy; industrial production (automation, demand forecasting, inventory management, etc.); finance (data analysis, investment suggestions, etc.)...
Looking ahead, the Director of Vibotics expressed his desire to build a strong Vietnamese AI community, and hoped that the Veronica software could be transformed into open source, where everyone could contribute data, ideas, and share how Vietnam can establish a firm foothold on the global AI map.

Speaking at the program, Mr. An Ngoc Thao, Deputy Secretary General of the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA), emphasized the leading role of AI in the digital transformation process in Vietnam.
Accordingly, the Government has issued the National Strategy on Research, Development, and Application of Artificial Intelligence until 2030. VINASA has also developed an internal AI strategy for more than 500 of its member companies, including HTI Group.
VINASA has also established a separate committee on artificial intelligence development to encourage and promote the emergence and development of businesses like Vibotics, while also fostering closer collaboration to create a digital transformation ecosystem for businesses and organizations in Vietnam.
"Only when we have a complete digital ecosystem can we have new, comprehensive economic and business models for enterprises. That is VINASA's highest expectation and aspiration," Mr. An Ngoc Thao affirmed.
