According to information from the Vietnam National Data Association, NDAChain is a key blockchain technology initiative chaired by the National Data Center ( Ministry of Public Security ), under the association's strategic direction.

NDAChain has just been approved by the Association Chairman and Minister of Public Security for deployment in the national core platform system.

Blockchain applications in various industries

NDAChain is not just a new technology platform, but is becoming a strategic digital infrastructure in many important fields. With its immutability and real-time data retrieval, NDAChain can be applied in a variety of industries.

In the food, pharmaceutical, and health product sectors where businesses regularly face counterfeit and fake goods, NDAChain helps authenticate the origin and monitor the entire journey of the product from the manufacturer to the consumer.

In manufacturing and logistics enterprises, applying NDAChain to supply chain management will help automate the checking, reconciliation, and authentication of documents and data related to transportation, distribution, and inventory. This not only reduces operating costs but also increases trust with domestic and foreign partners.

In areas such as education , finance, and insurance, NDAChain supports secure authentication of records, contracts, and customer identities, reducing fraud and improving user experience on digital platforms.

With its open architecture and integration promotion policy, NDAChain is not only a national-level technology infrastructure, but also an opportunity for technology companies, startups, and private organizations to jointly develop applications. Enterprises can exploit NDAChain to build digital services, such as identity wallets, anti-counterfeiting solutions, traceability platforms, or digital certification portals for each vertical industry.

National blockchain platform

NDAChain is designed as an intelligent middleware layer that authenticates, protects, and records data transactions before they are processed at the National Data Center. This reduces system load, eliminates the risk of a single point of failure, and ensures data integrity, transparency, and traceability at all levels.

Unlike public blockchains, NDAChain operates on a permissioned blockchain model, where each validator node is carefully selected and monitored. The network currently has 49 validators representing ministries, sectors, and large economic groups such as: Masan , VNVC, SunGroup, Sovico, VNG, Misa, etc.

With a processing capacity of 3,600 transactions per second and a latency of only 1.5 seconds, the platform flexibly meets both the business needs of the state and businesses in digital transformation.

According to the plan, NDAChain will complete integration into the National Data Center in 2025, expanding to localities and universities from 2026. The next phase will focus on human resource training, promoting international cooperation and deploying extended layers (Layer 2) to serve multiple industries.
