On February 26th, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a plan to implement Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP dated January 15th, 2025 of the Government and the tourism stimulus program for 2025, with the theme "Vietnam - Travel to Love".

Accordingly, the visa exemption policy for citizens of Poland, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland entering Vietnam for tourism purposes will be implemented from March 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. The temporary stay period is 45 days from the date of entry.

Tourists who are citizens of the three aforementioned countries entering Vietnam must meet the following conditions for entry under the unilateral visa exemption scheme as stipulated in the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam.

Passport must be valid for at least 6 months and the trip must be part of a program organized by a Vietnamese international travel agency, with confirmation of participation in the tour program.

Businesses holding licenses to operate international travel services must submit their registration to the Vietnam National Tourism Administration to participate in organizing tour programs for citizens of the three aforementioned countries.

This policy is implemented with the aim of contributing to attracting international tourists from these markets to Vietnam; enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese tourism in the international market through preferential policies, convenient entry procedures, and unique tourism experiences.

To stimulate tourism in these markets, Vietnam will organize various activities such as: programs introducing Vietnamese tourist destinations in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland; Vietnam Culture and Tourism Week in Poland and the Czech Republic to commemorate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations; and communication campaigns promoting tourism development in 2025…

By 2025, Vietnam's tourism industry aims to welcome 22-23 million international tourists and 120-130 million domestic tourists.
