Vietlott found 2 winning lottery tickets worth nearly 10 billion

Vietlott has just found 2 lottery tickets that won the Jackpot 2 prize with a total value of nearly 10 billion VND in the Power 6/55 lottery. The Jackpot 1 prize worth more than 216 billion VND is still waiting for its owner.

According to information from Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott), in the 1201st drawing of Power 6/55 lottery taking place tonight (June 10), Vietlott's Drawing Council determined the value of Jackpot 1 prize to be 216,184,106,550 VND (more than 216 billion VND). However, no player has won this jackpot yet.

But in today's drawing, Vietlott's system determined that there were 2 lottery tickets that won the Jackpot 2 prize. The value of this Jackpot 2 prize is 9,971,368,850 VND (nearly 10 billion VND). Thus, the value of this Jackpot 2 prize will be divided in half for 2 people.

The lucky numbers in the 1201st drawing of the Power 6/55 lottery taking place today are 03 - 06 - 21- 29 - 40 - 41 and the golden pair of numbers to compare for the Jackpot 2 prize is 37.

A Jackpot 2 winning ticket is one that matches 5 out of 6 numbers of Jackpot 1 and the remaining number matches the lucky number randomly selected by Vietlott.

The Jackpot 1 winning numbers today are 03 - 06 - 21- 29 - 40 - 41. The winning Jackpot 2 ticket is the ticket that matches 5 of the 6 numbers above and number 37.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Finance in Circular No. 111/2013/TT-BTC, the owner of the winning ticket will have to fulfill the tax payment obligation according to current regulations when receiving the prize.

Accordingly, the two lucky customers who won the Jackpot 2 jackpot today will have to pay 10% personal income tax, equivalent to more than 498 million VND. Thus, the amount of money that each player receives is more than 4.48 billion VND.

Also in the 1201st drawing of Power 6/55 lottery, Vietlott found 30 people who won first prizes, each worth 40,000,000 VND, 1,876 people won second prizes, each worth 500,000 VND, and 42,047 people won third prizes, each worth 50,000 VND.

The prize claim period is 60 days from the date of announcement of the prize. After this period, the prize will be canceled and added to Vietlott's other income category.

An elderly man in his 80s, living in Hanoi, has just received a Vietlott jackpot worth more than 39 billion VND.
