From April 26, 2026, Viettel Post will assume the role of National Network Provider (NNP) for FedEx in Vietnam, supporting the implementation of an enhanced operating model to improve network efficiency, increase deployment flexibility, and enhance service quality nationwide.
Under this partnership, FedEx will leverage Viettel Post's extensive national network, large fleet, and robust domestic infrastructure to better serve customers in Vietnam's rapidly growing trade and e-commerce market. Viettel Post will assume key operational roles, including end-to-end delivery, warehousing operations, and customs clearance coordination, to facilitate a more efficient, synchronized, and reliable cross-border logistics flow.

The collaboration between the two sides helps expand operational capacity, enhance global connectivity, and improve the quality of cross-border logistics services.
Integrating FedEx's global logistics network with Viettel Post's domestic logistics infrastructure creates a more seamless end-to-end supply chain. This contributes to an enhanced customer experience with greater flexibility, optimized delivery times, and expanded service coverage. By shortening delivery times and extending receiving times, Vietnamese businesses will be in a more favorable position to access international markets, especially in the context of rapidly growing cross-border trade.
Vietnam is playing an increasingly important role in the global supply chain, with total trade turnover exceeding US$930 billion by 2025. In this context, strengthening direct connections between domestic logistics infrastructure and international networks is key to enhancing export capacity and boosting trade flows.

The leadership of Viettel Post and FedEx spoke with the press.
Mr. Phung Van Cuong, General Director of Viettel Post, emphasized: “This cooperation shows that Vietnamese businesses can fully participate in the international logistics chain when they have real capabilities, a sufficiently strong operating system, and the ability to meet global standards. Viettel Post will continue to raise standards in speed, quality, transparency, control capabilities, and customer experience. We see this not only as an opportunity for cooperation but also as an opportunity to learn, standardize, and develop faster.”
Masamichi Ujiie, President of FedEx North and South Pacific, said: “Vietnam continues to be a strategically important market in FedEx’s regional growth strategy. Through our partnership with a leading and reputable national logistics provider like Viettel Post, we reaffirm our long-term commitment to Vietnam and enhance our ability to provide faster, more flexible, and better globally connected services to our customers.”
Applying FedEx's international operating standards to order management and tracking processes, along with transparency of information, promises to elevate service quality and create momentum for the continuous development of Vietnam's logistics industry.
As a key member unit of Viettel Group, one of Vietnam's largest state-owned enterprises, Viettel Post possesses a strong brand value, specialized operational capabilities, and a network covering 34 provinces and cities. With its superior postal offices, warehouses, and transportation capabilities, Viettel Post plays a crucial role in domestic logistics infrastructure, directly connecting to FedEx's global network in over 220 countries and territories. This combination contributes to strengthening international logistics connectivity, improving service quality, and supporting Vietnamese businesses in accessing global markets more effectively and flexibly.
This partnership builds on FedEx's transition to a direct-to-business model in Vietnam starting in June 2025, further reinforcing its long-term commitment to investing in domestic infrastructure, developing human resources, and fostering collaboration with leading businesses. The company remains steadfast in its goal of supporting Vietnam's economic growth by creating faster and more reliable connections between domestic businesses and international markets.
