VIMC honored to receive the award "Outstanding Exhibition Space" at the Closing Ceremony of the 80th Anniversary of National Achievements Exhibition

On the evening of September 15, 2025, the Closing Ceremony of the National Achievement Exhibition “80 Years of the Journey of Independence – Freedom – Happiness” took place solemnly at the National Exhibition Center (Hanoi), with the presence of leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, ministries, branches and localities. The event concluded a series of large-scale activities, marked by impressive numbers and widespread response from people across the country.

Comrade Nguyen Van Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded and presented flowers to the collectives that won the "Outstanding Exhibition Space" award.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced and awarded the "Outstanding Exhibition Space" award to 50 units participating in the Exhibition. The award structure includes 15 awards for central ministries, branches, and agencies; 15 awards for provinces and centrally run cities; and 20 awards for outstanding state-owned enterprises and private enterprises. Vietnam National Shipping Lines ( VIMC ) was honored to be named in the group of 20 outstanding enterprises, along with many leading corporations and groups in Vietnam.

Overview of VIMC exhibition space at the exhibition

The exhibition space is arranged on an area of nearly 200 m² of VIMC, gathering highlights that are of special interest to the public, including the model of the ship carrying President Ho Chi Minh on his journey to find a way to save the country, along with a space that vividly recreates the 30-year development journey and outstanding achievements on three strategic pillars: seaport exploitation, maritime transport and maritime services, while also showing the network of member enterprises spread across the country.

Not only impressive in content, VIMC's booth was also highly appreciated for its urgent preparation progress but completed early and on time as required by the Prime Minister, as well as its smooth and professional operation during the nearly 3 weeks of the Exhibition opening. It was this meticulousness and methodicalness that created a unique highlight, attracting the attention of senior leaders, the press, partners and the public.

The “Outstanding Exhibition Space” award given to VIMC is a recognition from the Party, Government, State and People for the Corporation’s persistent efforts, sense of responsibility and aspirations to rise. This title also affirms VIMC’s pioneering role in economic development, promoting the image of Vietnam’s maritime industry and spreading the pride of 80 years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness.
