Bustling Mid-Autumn Festival "Phu Thuong Shines - Children Reach Far"

HNP - On the evening of October 3, at Phu Thuong Primary School (Phu Thuong Ward, Hanoi), more than 800 children participated in the program "Full Moon Festival 2025" with the theme "Phu Thuong Shines - Children Reach Far". The program took place in a bustling atmosphere, full of Mid-Autumn colors, bringing children a warm and meaningful reunion Tet season.

Vice Chairman of Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee Bui The Cuong delivered the opening speech at the "Full Moon Festival 2025".

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee Bui The Cuong emphasized: "Mid-Autumn Festival has long been a beautiful traditional culture, a festival for children, a reunion occasion for every Vietnamese family. This is also an opportunity for the whole society to care for the young generation, the future owners of the country."

Vice Chairman of Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee also shared with the children about the New Year's letter to the teenagers and children nationwide and Vietnamese children abroad from President Luong Cuong. In it, he emphasized love, trust and expectations, advising the children to always be good, studious, united, loving, helping each other to progress together, becoming useful citizens, contributing to building Vietnam to be more and more prosperous and civilized.

According to the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Thuong Ward, 2025 is the first year of implementing a two-level urban government. The Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations of Phu Thuong Ward have paid special attention to the work of caring for, educating and protecting children.

Phu Thuong ward leaders give gifts to children

In recent times, the ward has organized many practical activities such as: Emulation movements for learning, competitions for healthy children, traffic safety. Sports and art competitions, building a friendly and healthy learning environment. Investing in upgrading facilities for schools, while focusing on caring for poor children, children with disabilities, and children in special circumstances. In addition, residential groups, unions and schools have organized "Full Moon Festivals" for children with many diverse forms, creating a useful and healthy playground for them.

Vice Chairman of Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee Bui The Cuong expressed his hope that Phu Thuong children would always remember the teachings of beloved Uncle Ho: be good, be filial to grandparents and parents, respect teachers, unite and love friends, actively study and practice. Each step of progress of the children today is the joy and pride of their families, teachers and society.

With the desire to build compassion, solidarity, help and sharing in the children, the Organizing Committee gave 62 gifts (each worth 300,000 VND with a bag of moon cakes) to children in difficult circumstances who strive to excel in their studies, along with 700 other gifts to children in the whole ward. The gifts were small but contained great affection and encouragement, contributing to encouraging the children to continue to make efforts and strive to excel.
