(GLO)- Today (October 4), the price of live pigs continued to decrease in many localities across the country. In particular, in the Central Highlands region, the price of live pigs decreased by 2,000 VND/kg, fluctuating between 51,000-55,000 VND/kg.

The provinces and cities with live pig prices down 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday include: Gia Lai, Quang Ngai and Da Nang . In which, the live pig price in Gia Lai is 51,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the region; in Da Nang and Quang Ngai, it is traded at 52,000 VND/kg.

In Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa, the price of live pigs today remained at 54,000 VND/kg, while Lam Dong continued to be the locality with the highest price in the region at 55,000 VND/kg.

Pork prices in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Tri and Hue all decreased by VND1,000, down to VND53,000/kg; Ha Tinh also decreased by VND1,000, down to VND52,000/kg.

Similarly, in some localities in the North and South, pork prices also decreased by VND1,000/kg. Accordingly, after the decrease, pork prices in Lang Son, Lao Cai and Dien Bien were VND54,000/kg; in Quang Ninh and Hanoi, they were down to VND55,000/kg.

With the same decrease, the price of pork in Tay Ninh and Ca Mau is 56,000 VND/kg; Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho buy at 55,000 VND/kg; Dong Thap is at 54,000 VND/kg.
