Eleven engineers and workers honored with the 25th Ton Duc Thang Award.

The 11 individuals honored with the 25th Ton Duc Thang Award are exemplary workers and engineers who have achieved high results in creative labor, and have made many initiatives and improvements that bring efficiency and value to businesses.

On the morning of February 4th, at the City Cadre Academy (Ho Chi Minh City), the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor (HCMCFL), and the Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper organized the 25th Ton Duc Thang Award Ceremony, 2025, to honor 11 outstanding engineers and workers in various fields.

Attending from the Central Committee was Comrade Nguyen Xuan Hung, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Representing Ho Chi Minh City were: Dang Minh Thong, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Nguyen Manh Cuong, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee; Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Confederation of Labor; Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Vo Khac Thai, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Confederation of Labor; Le Van Hoa, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Confederation of Labor; and Nguyen Khac Van, Acting Editor-in-Chief of the Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper.

Overwhelmed with emotion at being the only woman among the 11 recipients of the 25th Ton Duc Thang Award, Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan, Director of the Center for Research and Development of High-Tech Agriculture (under the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Agricultural Zone), shared that the award is a great honor, affirming the efforts and creativity in labor and scientific research of herself and her colleagues.

“Receiving the Ton Duc Thang Award is a profound milestone in my journey in scientific and technological research. This recognition will further motivate me to continue to better fulfill my role in research, application, and transfer of science and technology; contributing to building a modern, sustainable, high-tech agriculture for Ho Chi Minh City,” Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan expressed.

Sharing the honor of receiving the award, Mr. Nguyen Tang Phap, Head of Production Quality Improvement Department, Samsung Electronics HCMC CE Complex Co., Ltd., said that the award will be a motivation for him to continue researching, innovating, and making more initiatives and improvements to contribute to the development of the company in the future.

The Ton Duc Thang Award is a city-level award, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor in collaboration with the Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper since 2000.

The award honors engineers and workers who have made numerous technical innovations and conducted practical scientific research projects that have been applied to the production and business processes.

Over the past 25 years, 268 outstanding individuals with high-value initiatives, a serious work ethic, a continuous learning spirit, and a proactive approach to innovation have been honored at the Ton Duc Thang Award. The award has also contributed to the formation of a skilled, professional, and creative workforce.
