VNPT Net sets the goal of "rapid and steady progress" in its digital transformation strategy.

Under the overall conditions of VNPT , overcoming many difficulties, VNPT Net Corporation basically completed the goals and tasks set out in the 2023 plan. The VNPT Net Party Committee has thoroughly understood and implemented the policies, directives, and resolutions of the Central Committee, the Party Committee of the Central Enterprise Bloc, and the Party Committee of the Group; especially prioritizing the prevention and fight against corruption and negative practices, practicing thrift, combating waste; protecting the ideological foundation of the Party; and studying and following the moral example and style of President Ho Chi Minh.

VNPT Net Infrastructure Corporation is a subsidiary economic unit of the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), with the function of conducting business and providing services in the telecommunications, information technology, and communications sectors.

The year 2023 witnessed many major political , historical, and diplomatic events for the country; many important events for VNPT; unpredictable developments in the world; and continued fierce competition in the market. The Party Committee of the Corporation accurately predicted and assessed the situation, unified its policies, decisively directed and managed operations, implemented them synchronously, and demonstrated high determination and effort in organizing and carrying out its tasks.

With the overarching goal of "Improving network quality and strengthening discipline," all cadres, Party members, and employees of VNPT Net have strived to overcome difficulties and achieved encouraging results.

Accordingly, the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Corporation have consistently followed the direct leadership and guidance of the Party Committee of VNPT Group; and at the same time, have focused and decisively directed the synchronized implementation of assigned tasks and solutions.

Thanks to the efforts of the entire Corporation, the unit's production and business results have been achieved as follows: Total revenue in 2023 is estimated at over 9,500 billion VND, exceeding the annual plan by 0.4%; total expenses are nearly 8,500 billion VND, equal to the plan and down 6.6% compared to 2022; average labor productivity reached 3.5 billion VND/person; contributions to the state budget exceeded 296 billion VND;…

VNPT's network infrastructure and capacity continued to be strengthened in 2023. VNPT Net aggressively and synchronously implemented solutions to address the prolonged undersea fiber optic cable disruption, as well as increasing international internet capacity and total domestic transmission capacity.

The opening ceremony of VNPT IDC Hoa Lac was held on October 25, 2023.

The unit also completed the commissioning of the Hoa Lac IDC Center, upgraded the equipment and capacity of the 142 Dien Bien Phu IDC; 33 fiber optic cable projects belonging to 51 routes, with a total length of 3,875km; and developed and put into operation 6 out of 16 key digital transformation programs.

In 2023, VNPT Net achieved significant results in implementing a comprehensive nationwide system optimization program, ensuring that network quality KPIs consistently met and exceeded targets. Initiatives and action programs to optimize Capex and Opex costs resulted in savings of over 530 billion VND for the network.

Entering 2024, given market developments and development conditions, VNPT Group is facing significant challenges, especially difficulties in finding new areas for growth.

In light of this situation, starting from the third and fourth quarters of 2023, the Party Committee of the Corporation focused on leading and directing the entire Party organization to review, summarize, and periodically evaluate the implementation of specialized resolutions and action programs, assigning specific units and individuals to carry out the tasks.

The unit also focuses on closely and regularly integrating Party building tasks with the implementation of political tasks; proactively developing plans for technology development, network development, and production and business in 2024.

VNPT Net is always committed to achieving rapid and steady progress in order to quickly build and perfect its digital infrastructure, contributing to the Group's accelerated digital transformation strategy.

Based on the objectives and tasks set forth in the Resolution of the 2nd Party Congress of the Corporation for the 2020-2025 term and the specific conditions of the unit, the Party Committee of the Corporation has determined that in 2024 it will continue to build upon the achievements already made, maintain and develop the Corporation's Party organization to meet the standard of "Outstanding Performance"; more than 90% of Party organizations will be rated as having performed well; more than 95% of Party members will be rated as having performed well; and the leadership of mass organizations will have performed their duties excellently in 2024.

In addition, the Party Committee of the Corporation will focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of political and ideological work and building a strong Party organization; improving the quality of cadres and Party members; innovating the leadership methods of Party committees and organizations in political tasks; and improving the effectiveness of inspection and supervision work.

The Party Committee of the Corporation also determined that it will focus on leading and directing the implementation of action programs to carry out the thematic resolutions of the term; solutions/action plans for the planning year, gradually achieving the goals of the term and successfully completing the 2024 plan; closely following the process of innovation in the Group's production organization to build and implement the optimal plan for the production organization model, optimizing the labor force and management personnel of the Corporation.

The unit is determined to effectively achieve its production and business goals; build/develop digital infrastructure; strengthen network capacity and scale; create a fundamental transformation in technology and network infrastructure; ensure network safety and information security; ensure the progress of projects, especially key projects developing 5G networks, shutting down 2G networks, and developing superhighway fiber optic cables both domestically and internationally; and simultaneously participate in research and development of a project to launch telecommunications satellites to replace the VNS 1 and 2 satellites which are nearing the end of their service life.

Acknowledging and commending the efforts of the VNPT Net staff in successfully completing their assigned tasks and making a significant contribution to the Group's overall results, the Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Members of VNPT Group, To Dung Thai, requested that the Party Committee of the Corporation pay attention to overcoming existing shortcomings and limitations (with specific timelines, completion dates, and responsibilities assigned).

In 2024, the business environment will continue to face many challenges, and the VNPT Net team needs to further strengthen its role as a key infrastructure enterprise; be more proactive and decisive in pursuing development goals and directions.

The important thing is that once agreements are reached, we must ‘say it and do it,’” Mr. To Dung Thai emphasized.
