In the general conditions of VNPT , overcoming many difficulties, VNPT Net Corporation basically completed the goals and tasks set out in the 2023 planning year. VNPT Net Party Committee has thoroughly grasped and organized the implementation of policies, directives and resolutions of the Central Committee, the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, and the Party Committee of the Group; especially attaching importance to the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity, practicing thrift and combating waste; protecting the Party's ideological foundation; studying and following the moral example and style of President Ho Chi Minh.

VNPT Net Network Infrastructure Corporation is an economic unit directly under and accounting dependent on Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), with the function of production, business and service activities in the telecommunications, information technology and communications sector.

In 2023, many major political , historical and diplomatic events of the country took place; many important events of VNPT; the world situation had unpredictable developments; the market continued to be fiercely competitive. The Party Committee of the Corporation forecasted and correctly assessed the situation, was unified in policy, resolute in direction and operation, synchronous in implementation, highly determined and made efforts in organization and implementation.

With the consistent goal of "Improving network quality and strengthening discipline", all cadres, party members and employees of VNPT Net have strived to overcome difficulties and achieved encouraging results.

Accordingly, the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Corporation have always closely followed the direct leadership and direction of the Party Committee of VNPT Group; at the same time, focused and resolutely directed the synchronous implementation of assigned tasks and solutions.

With the efforts of the entire Corporation, the production and business results of the unit have been achieved specifically as follows: Total revenue in 2023 is estimated at more than 9,500 billion VND, exceeding the annual plan by 0.4%; total expenses are nearly 8,500 billion VND, equal to the plan and down 6.6% compared to 2022; average labor productivity reaches 3.5 billion VND/person; state budget contribution is more than 296 billion VND;...

VNPT's network infrastructure scale and capacity will continue to be enhanced in 2023. VNPT Net has drastically and synchronously deployed solutions to overcome the prolonged submarine fiber optic cable problem as well as increase international internet capacity and total domestic transmission capacity.

The unit also completed and put into operation the Hoa Lac IDC Center, increased equipment and capacity of IDC 142 Dien Bien Phu; 33 fiber optic cable projects on 51 routes, with a total length of 3,875km; developed and put into operation 6 out of 16 key digital transformation programs.

In 2023, VNPT Net achieved great results in implementing a comprehensive optimization program for systems nationwide, helping network quality KPI indicators always reach and exceed the prescribed level. Initiatives and action programs to optimize Capex and Opex costs, helping the network save more than 530 billion VND.

Entering 2024, given market developments and development conditions, VNPT Group is facing huge challenges, especially difficulties in finding new development space.

Faced with that situation, right from the third and fourth quarters of 2023, the Party Committee of the Corporation focused on leading and directing the entire Party Committee to periodically review, summarize, and evaluate the implementation of specialized resolutions and action programs, and assign specific units and individuals to implement.

The unit also focuses on closely and regularly combining the task of Party building with the implementation of political tasks; proactively building plans for technology development, network development, and production and business in 2024.

VNPT Net always sets the goal of moving quickly and steadily to soon build and complete digital infrastructure, contributing to the Group's acceleration in digital transformation strategy.

Based on the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 2nd Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and the specific conditions of the unit, the Party Committee of the Corporation determined that in 2024, it will continue to promote the achieved results, maintain and build the Party organization of the Corporation to meet the standard of "Excellent completion of tasks"; more than 90% of party organizations are classified as having completed their tasks well; more than 95% of party members are classified as having completed their tasks well; leading mass organizations to excellently complete their tasks in 2024.

In addition, the Party Committee of the Corporation will focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of political and ideological work and building a strong Party organization; improving the quality of cadres and Party members; innovating the leadership methods of Party committees and organizations with political tasks; improving the effectiveness of inspection and supervision work.

The Party Committee of the Corporation also determined to focus on leading and directing the implementation of action programs to implement the thematic Resolutions of the term; solutions/action plans of the planning year, gradually completing the goals of the term and successfully completing the 2024 plan; closely following the process of innovating the production organization of the Group to build and implement the optimal plan for the production organization model, optimizing the labor resources and management personnel of the Corporation.

The unit is determined to effectively implement production and business goals; build/develop digital infrastructure; enhance network capacity and scale; create fundamental transformations in technology and network infrastructure; ensure network safety and information security; ensure project progress, especially key projects to develop 5G networks, turn off 2G networks, develop domestic and international superhighway optical fiber cables; at the same time, participate in research and development of a project to launch telecommunications satellites to replace VNS 1 and 2 satellites that are about to expire.

Recognizing and praising the efforts of the staff of VNPT Net in completing their assigned tasks well, contributing significantly to the overall results of the Group, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Members of VNPT Group To Dung Thai suggested that the Party Committee of the Corporation pay attention to overcoming shortcomings and limitations (with progress, completion time, and specific assignment of responsibilities).

In 2024, the production and business environment will continue to face many difficulties. VNPT Net team needs to further promote the role of a key infrastructure enterprise; be more proactive and decisive in achieving development goals and orientations.
