Accordingly, the three owners were fined: NQH (24 years old, living in Gia Lai province), L.D.D. (23 years old, from Vung Tau, living in Ward 10, Da Lat city) and D.TK (20 years old, from Nam Dinh ) each 1.5 million VND for not muzzling the dog and not having someone lead the dog when taking it to a public place, Lam Vien square.
As Thanh Nien reported, the three young men brought unmuzzled Alaskan dogs to "guard" a beautiful location next to two blooming cherry blossom trees in Lam Vien Square to collect money from tourists for taking photos. On the evening of April 21, the functional forces of Ward 10 made a record with these three young men and brought the four Alaskan dogs to the Ward 10 People's Committee.
Authorities took the unmuzzled Alaskan dogs to the Ward 10 People's Committee headquarters.
At the scene, the young men did not muzzle the Alaskan dog when taking it out in public. At the time of the inspection, authorities had no evidence that the young men solicited or collected money from residents and tourists to take photos under the cherry blossom tree.
According to many tourists, when they came to Lam Vien Square to take pictures and film the blooming cherry blossoms, they were "stuck" with 2 Alaskan dogs brought by young men to "guard" the most beautiful spot. Each time they took pictures, there were 2 Alaskan dogs, and the young men asked the locals and tourists to pay 20,000 VND/time.
