The Department of Financial Planning organized the 1st Party Congress, term 2025-2027

On June 30, in Hanoi, the Department of Planning and Finance (Ministry of Science and Technology) held the 1st Party Congress for the 2025-2027 term. This is an opportunity for the Party to comprehensively review the results achieved in the past term, and at the same time determine the direction, goals, tasks and solutions for the next term.

Overview of the Congress

The political report presented at the Congress stated that in the 2022-2025 term, despite facing many difficulties, especially the process of restructuring the apparatus in the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW and the merger between the two Ministries, the Party Cell of the Department of Science and Technology has promoted the spirit of solidarity, made efforts to overcome difficulties, and successfully completed the assigned tasks.

The Party cell continues to focus on Party building work in terms of politics, ideology, ethics and organization... Party members have strong political will, uphold the sense of responsibility and are exemplary in performing assigned tasks.

The work of inspection, supervision, internal political protection, and anti-corruption and negativity is carried out seriously.

Leadership of mass organizations, mass mobilization work and implementation of democracy at the grassroots level continue to be strengthened.

In the coming period, the Party Cell of the Department of Science and Technology aims to perfect mechanisms and policies directly related to the development of science , technology, innovation, national digital transformation and implementation guidelines. In particular, focusing on completing on schedule and with quality the tasks of developing, submitting to competent authorities for consideration and promulgation of guiding documents for the Law on Science, Technology and Innovation approved by the National Assembly on June 27, 2025, promptly bringing the law into practice.

In addition, the Department continues to perform well its regular tasks of ensuring facilities, logistics and working conditions for the Ministry and its units, including: Managing and decentralizing budget, finance and asset management; purchasing and public investment; practicing thrift and combating waste; managing enterprises; implementing national target programs; supporting localities, etc.

The Congress discussed and 100% of party members present voted unanimously to pass the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2025-2027 term with the motto of action in the coming period "Solidarity, Compassion, Innovation, Knowledge, Courage" .

With a spirit of democracy, responsibility and high unity, the Congress of the Party Cell of the Department of Science and Technology for the 2025-2027 term was a great success, contributing to consolidating a clean and strong Party organization, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation./.
