Knife attack causes stir in Thai entertainment industry

On the morning of August 3, Huamark Police Station (Thailand) received a report of a knife attack. The incident occurred at a gas station on Ramkhamhaeng Road, Huamark Subdistrict, Bangkok. Police quickly arrived at the scene.

According to reports at the scene, police found Peck Phalitchok, a popular singer, with a deep cut on his chin and bleeding. Medical staff provided first aid before Peck Phalitchok was taken to a nearby hospital.

The police also quickly arrested the perpetrator.

Currently, the health of male singer Peck Phalitchok is stable. The attacker of the famous male singer, Chutithep, is only 21 years old. He was confiscated a 20cm long knife. The perpetrator confessed to using the knife to attack Peck Phalitchok and claimed that he did so in self-defense.

The man told police he was driving to pick up his girlfriend from work and stopped at a gas station to get gas. He noticed a fight in the back of a pickup truck and got out to stop it.

At that time, Peck Phalitchok approached. Chutithep thought Peck Phalitchok intended to attack him so he pulled out the knife he was carrying to defend himself.

Currently, suspect Chutithep is being investigated for two crimes: Carrying a knife in public without permission and Assaulting another person causing injury.

Police are waiting for further statements from singer Peck Phalitchok and collecting evidence related to the incident. The news that singer Peck Phalitchok was seriously stabbed is causing a stir on Thai social media.

The male singer, born in 1984, has been active in the entertainment industry since the 2000s. Before returning to Thailand to work, he lived and studied in Australia.
