Doc Let Beach is as beautiful as a painting.

Located about 50km north of Nha Trang city center, Doc Let beach (Dong Ninh Hoa ward, Khanh Hoa province) captivates tourists with its pristine, peaceful beauty.

According to locals, the name Doc Let (meaning "crawling" or "dragging" across the area's unique topography. In the past, to reach the beach, visitors had to "crawl" across towering, soft white sand dunes, each step causing their feet to sink.

Although transportation is now convenient, that unique name still intrigues tourists and evokes an interesting story about this coastal region.

Besides swimming in the sea, Doc Let also attracts tourists with the simple beauty of the fishing villages along the coast.

Early in the morning, as the boats dock, fishermen display baskets of fresh fish, shrimp, and crabs right on the beach. Tourists can choose to buy them on the spot, enjoy the simple preparation, and savor the taste of the sea immediately.

In recent years, Doc Let has begun to appear in resort tourism tours, becoming a popular destination for many families and groups of young people. While some tourist areas and resorts have been invested in, the natural landscape remains preserved, without an overly dense concentration of construction.

In addition, local people have also started developing community-based tourism, building accommodation facilities so that visitors can have authentic and intimate experiences.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hieu, a local resident who runs a homestay business right on Doc Let beach, said that tourists who come here are usually young people or small families who want to find a peaceful, quiet beach environment.

According to Ms. Hieu, the special thing about Doc Let is that it still retains its pristine and rustic charm. Tourists can come to check in, take photos, stroll on the beach, enjoy local cuisine , or experience life with fishermen in the fishing village without rushing or crowding.

Visiting Doc Let for the first time, Duong Thanh Huyen (a tourist from Hanoi ) said: "What attracts me to Doc Let is its simple, quiet atmosphere, the seafood is fresh and delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Those who don't like the bustling atmosphere of Nha Trang or Bai Dai can come here for a unique experience."

Mr. Cung Quynh Anh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, said that in recent times, many tourism infrastructure investment projects have been and are being implemented in the Doc Let area.

Many locals have invested in homestays that meet "green" criteria, aligning with current tourism trends.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province also stated that in the coming time, the province's tourism industry will focus on attracting investment, exploiting potential and developing tourism products; and training to improve the quality of human resources to serve tourism activities in Doc Let area.
