
More than 20 students attended the training course.
The training course was attended by more than 100 students who are doctors, medical staff , and health science experts from sports units nationwide. The training course aims to provide in-depth knowledge and international standard practices on sampling, preservation, and processing of doping samples according to the standards of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). Trainees are thoroughly instructed on professional procedures, professional ethics, and real-life situations in doping testing at tournaments.
Doping is a burning issue in sports all over the world. Therefore, the 2025 Doping Sampling Officer Training Course is a professional activity of special importance in the context of Vietnamese sports increasingly integrating deeply with regional and international sports.
According to Mr. Le Minh Ha - Director of the Vietnam Anti-Doping Center, anti-doping is one of the core tasks to protect the values of honesty, respect and fairness in sports. Each doping sampler is not only a person who performs technical tasks, but also a person who preserves the purity of national sports.
The training course is expected to form a team of professional doping samplers, contributing to strengthening the national Anti-Doping system, ensuring that all Vietnamese athletes compete in a spirit of cleanliness - honesty - respect for the rules of the game.
Mr. Ly Dai Nghia - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Sports Training and Competition Center shared: "Ho Chi Minh City Sports always accompanies VADA in building an honest and transparent sports foundation. Organizing classes right at the Center demonstrates Ho Chi Minh City's strong commitment to developing a team of sports health science professionals that meet international standards."
