Military Region 5 conducts comprehensive inspection of military work at Gia Lai Provincial Military Command

(GLO)- On October 8, the working delegation of the General Staff of Military Region 5 led by Colonel Le Kim Giau - Deputy Chief of Staff of the Military Region conducted a comprehensive inspection of military work at the Military Command (CHQS) of Gia Lai province.

Working with the delegation was Colonel Mai Kim Binh - Provincial Party Committee member, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command.

At the working session, the Provincial Military Command reported to the working delegation of the General Staff of Military Region 5 on the results of leadership, direction, consultation, monitoring, close management and unification of the content and methods of implementing military work in 2025 in the entire armed forces of the province.

After that, the Working Group conducted a field inspection of records, procedures, plans, and processes of organizational and staffing work according to the decisions of the Minister of National Defense on transferring, merging, and reorganizing units and the organization of staffing of positions and titles; implementing policies and regimes for military personnel under the management of military agencies; the process of requesting regime settlement according to Decree 178/ND-CP for subjects; inventory, statistics, registration, management, and arrangement of use of weapons and technical means; registration and management of reserve soldiers and reserve technical means, etc.

Through the inspection, the Working Group assessed that the Provincial Military Command and its agencies and units basically comprehensively carried out all aspects of military work, and strictly followed the procedures and steps in accordance with the regulations issued by all levels.

Colonel Le Kim Giau - Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 5 requested the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command to continue to thoroughly grasp and implement the viewpoint that military work is one of the central tasks of force organization and is the main and important task of commanders and command - staff systems at all levels. From there, focus on effectively implementing the work of organizing staffing, equipment, mobilization, military numbers, recruitment and salary increase procedures, group and rank transfers, and resolving policies and regimes for subjects under military management.

The working delegation also recorded and summarized the difficulties and problems proposed by the Provincial Military Command to propose to the Head of Military Region 5 Command and the Ministry of National Defense solutions and directions suitable to the actual situation.
