Military forces contribute to the success of the Congress

(GLO)- The first Congress of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term has completed all of its agenda. The Army contributed to the overall success of the Congress by successfully completing the task of ensuring security and safety before, during and after the Congress.

In closely following the preparation and organization process of the Provincial Party Congress, the Provincial Military Command clearly identified the highest goal as firmly grasping the local situation, preventing, stopping, and eliminating potential complex factors regarding political security early, from afar, right at the grassroots level; ensuring absolute security and safety, avoiding passivity and surprise; contributing to the successful organization of the Congress.

According to Colonel Dinh Van The - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, in the overall plan, the Provincial Military Command has anticipated many situations and has specific handling plans. On that basis, during the implementation of the mission, the professional units will arrange appropriate forces, closely following the characteristics of each area, mastering plans from routes, mobility directions to organizing the use of forces and coordinating smoothly with other forces.

In order to ensure absolute security for the Provincial Party Congress, the Provincial Military Command also mobilized its maximum force, with 100% of its troops on duty during the Congress. At the same time, the agencies and units under the Provincial Military Command also strictly maintained the regime of command, on duty, combat duty, patrol and guard, and fully prepared weapons, technical equipment and materials to perform the tasks.

Each officer and soldier assigned to perform the task has identified a sense of responsibility and is determined not to let any incident or unexpected situation happen, no matter how small.

Senior Lieutenant Tran Xuan Dat - Platoon Leader of the Guard Platoon (Staff Department, Provincial Military Command) said: "In the process of performing guard, patrol and control tasks, the head of the Provincial Military Command always focuses on arranging the number of troops scientifically and reasonably. Thanks to that, the guard targets are always guaranteed absolute safety. In particular, the officers and soldiers of the Platoon, during the performance of their tasks, are always flexible, proactive in coordinating with other forces in handling situations, strictly observing regulations and manners when performing their duties."

Lieutenant Dang Quoc Bao - Platoon Leader of the Special Task Force Platoon (belonging to the 1st Mechanized Reconnaissance Company, General Staff Department, Provincial Military Command) shared: "As a young soldier, participating in the Provincial Party Congress is both an honor and a great responsibility for me. In addition, all venues where the Congress takes place at the Provincial Convention Center (such as the large hall - where plenary sessions take place; areas for discussion groups; rooms for receiving delegates or exhibition booths, exhibition areas) are all thoroughly inspected by the engineering force of the Provincial Military Command, and bomb, mine and explosive clearance is organized to ensure absolute safety. At the same time, the Provincial Military Command also established a unit to control unmanned aerial vehicles and ultra-light equipment, on duty 100% to promptly handle any situation.

In addition, according to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Duc Tuan - Head of the Operations Department (Staff Department, Provincial Military Command), the unit also closely coordinates with the Provincial Police, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism to orient the work of ensuring information security, communications, and network security. Especially actively fighting against false and hostile arguments, taking advantage of the organization of the congress to propagate, distort the Party's policies and guidelines, defame and slander cadres and party members in cyberspace.

"The Provincial Military Command also directed agencies and units to closely monitor the area, focus on monitoring and grasping the situation in the airspace, sea, and border areas to promptly advise competent authorities on handling, and avoid being surprised," added Lieutenant Colonel Tuan.

Each stage and step was carefully reviewed and implemented; demonstrating the high sense of responsibility of the officers and soldiers of the entire armed forces for the especially important political event of the province.
