The 2025 Asian Youth Games will help solidify Bahrain's position as a leading destination for major international sporting events.
Sara noted that hosting the event at Exhibition World Bahrain marks a significant milestone for the venue as it will be the first time in the event's history that the Opening Ceremony will be held indoors, and it will also host 14 other sporting events.
Exhibition World Bahrain was chosen for its state-of-the-art facilities, cutting-edge technology, and innovative services, creating an ideal environment for athletes and spectators while maintaining world- class standards.
According to Sara Ahmed Buhiji, preparations included significant upgrades to Bahrain's tourism infrastructure and hospitality services, and emphasized the effective collaboration between the public and private sectors in organizing a successful event.
In addition, the Organizing Committee, in coordination with relevant authorities, has developed comprehensive tourism programs for participating sports delegations. These programs include guided tours to Bahrain's most prominent historical, cultural, and entertainment sites, allowing visitors to experience the unique tourism offerings of the Kingdom.
