Lam Dong province receives over 208 billion VND in aid to mitigate the consequences of natural disasters.

On the morning of December 12th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province received a donation from Vietnam Airlines to support the local area in overcoming the consequences of recent floods and heavy rains.

Vietnam Airlines donated 500 million VND to support Lam Dong province in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

At the handover ceremony, Vietnam Airlines donated 500 million VND, and the Youth Union of the Corporation donated 1,000 blankets to share the difficulties with localities and people severely affected by the floods.

The Vietnam Airlines Youth Union donated 1,000 blankets to share the difficulties faced by people in Lam Dong province severely affected by storms and floods.

Ms. Ngo Thi Thu Hien, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Airlines branch, said that the gift was a timely act of sharing aimed at helping the locality quickly stabilize the lives of its people, especially in areas severely affected.

Vietnam Airlines is ready to cooperate and provide resources and transportation to help localities in social welfare work and disaster relief.

Ms. Ha Thi Hanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, expressed her gratitude for the support of Vietnam Airlines.

These donations will be consolidated by the relevant unit and allocated to support people and localities in overcoming the consequences of floods and heavy rains in a timely, targeted, transparent, and clear manner.

According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, from October to the present, the Lam Dong Provincial Relief Fund has received more than 208 billion VND from organizations, businesses, and philanthropists to help localities and people overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
