In the mid-morning, after the first AK submachine gun shooting practice session, under the guidance of Senior Lieutenant Dieu Long, Political Officer of Company 6, Battalion 2 (736th Regiment, Binh Phuoc Provincial Military Command), the new recruits quickly joined in military games on the training ground. The equipment used to organize the games was designed to be compact and playable on any training ground; the rotating wheel had squares marked: Luck, Loss of Turn, Reward; and squares for military knowledge, politics, history, culture and arts, and physical education and sports.

Turning to the military knowledge section, soldier Pham Huu Tri received the question: "Can you name the daily routines?". Immediately, soldier Pham Huu Tri answered the question correctly. Meanwhile, soldier Le Tuan Canh turned to the section on culture and arts with the question: "Sing one of the prescribed songs." The singing, applause, and hearty laughter of the new soldiers echoed throughout the training ground.

The game became increasingly engaging with many practical and meaningful situational questions that dispelled the fatigue after hours of training. After a few minutes of beneficial break on the training ground, the new recruits enthusiastically resumed their training.

Lieutenant Dieu Long said that the "Military Crossword Puzzle Game" model on the training ground was implemented by Regiment 736 in the training of new recruits in 2025. The content of the crossword puzzles mainly focuses on military and political knowledge in the new recruit training program and some daily situations in studying and working... Based on the situation and the quality of the soldiers' learning, we ask short, specific, and practical questions. The game has truly become a beneficial source of entertainment for new recruits, both reinforcing knowledge and providing entertainment, so the soldiers look forward to it after training hours.”

Training on the field in hot, humid weather conditions, with high-intensity exercise, and with new recruits still unfamiliar with the specifics of military operations, fatigue and stress are inevitable. The "Military Carousel Game" model has helped bring joy and relaxation, while simultaneously enhancing the knowledge of the new recruits.

Major Dao Van Hieu, Political Officer of Battalion 2, shared: "To make the field training motivational activities truly engaging and effective, we focus on improving the skills and organizational abilities of our officers. The companies establish core groups for these activities, strengthening propaganda and motivational efforts through vivid visual methods based on themes and content appropriate to each time period. Through this, field training motivational activities are innovated, practically promoting, educating, and motivating soldiers to overcome difficulties and hardships, actively study and train, and determined to achieve high results in training."
