It is forecasted that from early morning until tonight, the mountainous areas of the North will continue to have heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 30-60mm, locally very heavy rain over 150mm.

Other places in the North, Thanh Hoa, the area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai , the Central Highlands and the South have rainfall from 10-30mm, locally heavy rain over 70mm. Warning of the risk of heavy rain (>100mm/3h).

According to the forecast, heavy rain will occur in the mountainous areas of the North today.

Heavy rain can cause flooding in low-lying areas, urban and industrial areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes.
