Rich and unique tourism products
The ethnic minority regions in our country possess an extremely rich and diverse system of cultural heritage. This is an important tourism resource, representing a potential and comparative advantage in tourism development. Most mountainous provinces and ethnic minority regions served as important strongholds during the national resistance wars.
Furthermore, ethnic minority areas are also culturally diverse regions with many unique and attractive cultural nuances. This is a rich cultural resource that directly creates distinctive heritage tourism products such as tourism products bearing the mark of the Hmong, Dao, Xa Pho, and Tay people; and tourism products reflecting adaptation to the environment, such as the magnificent terraced rice fields.
Farming practices on sloping land, terraced fields, or valleys along rivers and streams all create an attractive beauty for experiential tourism... Thus, the diversity and richness of ethnic cultural heritage have created an appeal for heritage tourism.
