Microsoft integrates a tool that allows compressing and decompressing compressed files without installing additional software. |
However, Microsoft will integrate more file compression / decompression feature directly into Windows 11, allowing to compress multiple files into one or decompress compressed files to view content without having to install additional 3rd party software.
This will help limit the risk of security holes appearing on users' computers when they don't have to install additional 3rd party software.
Quick close feature of suspended software on Windows 11
It is quite common for software to hang or encounter errors on Windows computers. When encountering this situation, users often have to restart the computer or activate the Task Manager function (task management), then find and kill the suspended software processes.
The "Force Quit" feature allows users to close suspended applications on Windows 11 quickly from the Taskbar. |
Now Microsoft is testing a new feature that allows users to close applications that are suspended or have errors right from the Windows 11 Taskbar.
Feature to review passwords of connected WiFi networks
To review the passwords of connected WiFi networks on Windows, you have to ask for the help of some 3rd party software, or have to go through many setup steps on the computer that not all users know how to do.
