Hoang Anh is currently a student at the University of Commerce. In early 2026, she was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma lung cancer with bone metastasis. While her peers were studying and pursuing their youthful dreams, Hoang Anh had to embark on a journey to battle this deadly disease.
My family is in difficult circumstances. My father suffers from degenerative disc disease and spinal disc herniation, making it difficult for him to walk; my mother has had diabetes for many years and worked as a seamstress, but she had to quit her job to take care of me. The cost of Hoàng Anh's treatment has reached approximately 500 million VND, leaving the family financially exhausted.
Sharing in the family's plight, the Vice Chairman of the Dan Phuong Commune People's Committee, Nguyen Thi Quynh Lam, along with representatives from specialized departments and the leaders of Bai Thuy village, visited, encouraged, and provided support to Hoang Anh.
During the visit, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Lam kindly inquired about Hoang Anh's health and treatment progress; at the same time, she encouraged Hoang Anh to maintain an optimistic spirit and actively participate in treatment so that he could quickly regain his health and continue pursuing his unfinished dreams.

On this occasion, the leaders of Bai Thuy village, along with various organizations, presented nearly 28 million VND, donated by officials and residents, to support the family in providing better medical treatment for Hoang Anh.
Following that, the delegation from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dan Phuong commune also visited, encouraged, and provided support to Hoang Anh. Mr. Nguyen Dang Thuc, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Chairman of the Farmers' Association of the commune, encouraged Hoang Anh to maintain his spirits and actively participate in treatment to overcome his illness soon.
Joining hands to help the family, the Women's Association of Doai Khe village, Dan Phuong commune, along with several benefactors, provided nearly 40 million VND in support, contributing to giving the family more motivation to overcome this difficult period.

In addition to supporting the case of Nguyen Hoang Anh, during the Humanitarian Month of 2026, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dan Phuong commune, in coordination with the Red Cross Society of the commune and Chinlan Shing Rubber Ha Tay Company, organized the distribution of monthly financial assistance to disadvantaged families in the area. The total amount of assistance was 20 million VND per month.
These practical and meaningful activities have demonstrated the spirit of mutual support and compassion, the concern of the Party committee, government, organizations, associations, and local people for those in difficult circumstances, contributing to the spread of humanitarian values in the community.
