On the afternoon of May 28th, the People's Committee of Lien Minh commune, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, held a signing ceremony for a cooperation program to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation; launched the "Digital Transformation Village" model, the "Lien Minh Digital Heritage Handbook" website, and a website promoting local agricultural products.
Attending the program were Ms. Do Thi Luan - Deputy Head of the Data and Digital Government Department, Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Nguyen Tien Toan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of the commune, Head of the Steering Committee for the implementation of Resolution 57 of the commune; Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune; Mr. Nguyen Quy Manh, Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune, along with representatives of officials in the commune.
Delegates watched a documentary about the initial results of implementing Resolution 57. Many models have proven effective, such as cashless markets, bringing agricultural products to e-commerce platforms, and supporting people in accessing public services.
A key part of the program was the signing ceremony of a cooperation plan between the People's Committee of the commune and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to participate in digital transformation; promote the role of community digital technology groups, and bring policies and guidelines to each residential area.
On this occasion, Lien Minh commune officially launched the "Digital Transformation Village" model in La Thach village and Cluster 2 of Tho Xuan area. Through a digital map system integrated with QR codes, residents can look up information about their residential area, access public services, send feedback to the government, and participate in digital economic activities.

In addition, the "Digital Heritage Guide of the Alliance" website has been launched, digitizing data on ranked heritage sites, making it convenient for locals and tourists to learn about the history, cultural value, and architecture of each site. This is a concrete step in applying technology to preserve and promote heritage values and showcase the image of the homeland.
Speaking at the program, the Party Secretary of the commune, Nguyen Tien Toan, emphasized that digital transformation must be centered around the people and that they are the direct beneficiaries. He requested continued efforts to promote awareness among officials, Party members, and the people; and to improve the effectiveness of community digital technology groups with the motto "going to every alley, knocking on every door, guiding every person."
Local authorities need to strengthen the application of technology, develop digital infrastructure, and replicate effective models through close coordination between the government, the Fatherland Front, and other organizations.
