Farmers in Thanh Quang commune (Thanh Ha) harvest lychee early, high price

According to the People's Committee of Thanh Quang commune (Thanh Ha), the whole commune has 17 weighing points serving the purchase and consumption of lychees in 2025.

Thanh Quang commune currently has 700 hectares of lychee, with an expected output of 12,000 tons. This is the earliest locality to have the most lychee in Thanh Ha district.

Early lychee varieties include: White egg lychee, spiny lychee, pink lychee and hybrid lychee. White egg lychee in the early morning of May 26 was sold for 80,000 VND/kg, spiny lychee was sold for 40,000 VND/kg.

This year, Road 390 has been widened and has a corridor, so the lychee weighing points do not spill onto the road, making traffic convenient. The weighing points are located on wide roads in the village. The traders who set up the weighing points are mostly locals, hiring workers from other places to process and package the lychees before selling them to the market or exporting them.

The entire lychee growing area in Thanh Quang applies VietGAP process to production, of which 50 hectares meet GlobalGAP standards, 70 hectares are certified to VietGAP standards.
