Phu Nghia Commune: Launching campaign to clear corridors, fight against encroachment on sidewalks, roadsides and curbs

HNP - On August 20, the People's Committee of Phu Nghia commune organized a campaign to inspect, handle and clear violations of encroachment on roads, sidewalks, and road traffic safety corridors on National Highway 6 in the commune.

On the first day of operation, the forces participating in the clearance removed hundreds of billboards, umbrellas, and all canopies and awnings along National Highway 6 (from Dong Tru village to Phu Vinh village, Phu Yen village to Dong Phuong Yen market area, Doi 1 village).

Along with clearing and handling cases of intentional violations, the authorities also propagated and mobilized business households along National Highway 6 to voluntarily remove advertising signs, canopies, and clean up construction materials and furniture occupying the roadway and sidewalk, obstructing the view and spoiling the urban beauty.

According to the plan of the People's Committee of Phu Nghia commune, the campaign to inspect, handle and clear violations of encroachment on roads, sidewalks, and road traffic safety corridors on National Highway 6 in the commune will take place from August 20 to 23, 2025 and will continue to be maintained regularly to restore traffic safety, urban order, and environmental sanitation in the commune.
