Afterward, company workers sprayed the dye away, causing it to flow into the stormwater drainage system and then into the stream.

Initial tests by authorities have determined that this dye does not contain any harmful ingredients.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Binh Phuoc province is still collecting water samples for detailed analysis and will provide a final conclusion.

As reported by Dan Tri newspaper , at around 7:00 AM on December 3rd, residents of Minh Long ward discovered that the water in the stream (commonly known as Stream 1) had suddenly turned red, so they reported it to the local authorities.
