Investigating the case of a school principal in debt who was harassed by creditors at the school.

On June 1st, the Education and Training Department of Vinh Linh District ( Quang Tri Province ) announced the results of its investigation into a complaint alleging that several creditors frequently visited Trung Nam No. 2 Kindergarten (Trung Nam Commune, Vinh Linh District) to demand payment and cause disturbances.

According to the complaint, recently some creditors have been frequently entering Trung Nam No. 2 Kindergarten to demand payment, engaging in disruptive behavior, shouting and physically assaulting school staff, and posting debt collection notices on the school's bulletin board. The creditors also threatened the school, causing anxiety among staff and teachers, and unease among parents regarding their own safety and that of their children at school.

According to the complaint, despite the unusual nature of the incident, the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, and the Trade Union Executive Committee showed signs of covering up and condoning each other's actions…

After receiving the complaint, the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Linh District organized a working group to verify the information. Through interviews with Ms. NTX, Principal and Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Trung Nam No. 2 Kindergarten, and teachers, along with evidence, the working group confirmed that Ms. X. did indeed borrow money from several people outside the school for business purposes.

Among those from whom the principal borrowed money was Ms. S. (residing in Ho Xa Town, Vinh Linh District). Recently, Ms. S. visited the school a few times to meet with Ms. X. to demand repayment, but there were no instances of disruption or threats.

Therefore, the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Linh District also concluded that there was no basis or evidence to determine whether the Party Committee, the School Board, or the Trade Union Executive Committee were covering up or condoning each other's actions; there were no signs of teachers worrying or parents feeling insecure about their own safety and that of their children when coming to school, and all educational activities of the school were proceeding normally.

However, the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Linh District requested that Ms. X. not bring her personal matter into the school grounds, as it would affect the educational environment. In addition, the school needs to report the incident to the local authorities to ensure security and order.
