At around 10:30 p.m. on August 13, a male driver drove a technology taxi with license plate 50H-745.13 on To Ngoc Van Street, Tam Binh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. When reaching the intersection with Road No. 4, the vehicle drove onto the sidewalk, hitting a smoothie cabinet, tables and chairs on the sidewalk, two motorbikes, and a man and a woman standing nearby. The taxi continued to hit a repair shop and then flew out onto the street.
The accident injured a man and a woman and they were taken to the hospital by local people, the man was seriously injured.

At the scene, the garage door was completely damaged, a section of the concrete wall collapsed. The sidewalk was littered with damaged furniture, and the front of the taxi was badly damaged.
Rach Chiec Traffic Police Team and Tam Binh Ward Police came to take the driver to the headquarters to work and handle the scene. That same night, the functional unit of Ho Chi Minh City Police came to examine the scene and collect evidence related to the incident.
