Green SM enters the food delivery sector by electric vehicle
According to the record, Xanh SM started posting notices inviting businesses and stores to join the Xanh Ngon Merchant platform, a quality food sales channel operated by Xanh SM - a business founded by Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, which has made its mark with electric taxis.
The Xanh Ngon Merchant model focuses on connecting restaurants, eateries, and specialty establishments with consumers through a mobile application, accompanied by an electric vehicle delivery team. This is a big difference compared to competitors using gasoline vehicles.
The highlight of this platform lies in its partner-friendly policies such as free registration, quick profile approval, competitive discounts and many other flexible support programs.
A representative of Xanh SM said that the platform not only helps restaurants increase revenue but also commits to ensuring stable orders thanks to the growing number of users.

In the first phase, Xanh Ngon will operate in Hanoi and quickly expand to major cities. Priority partners are establishments with full business licenses and food safety certification, positioning products as "delicious, clean, safe".
Not hiding his ambition, CEO of Xanh SM Nguyen Van Thanh once shared that the company spent many months researching the Vietnamese food delivery market in depth, recruiting personnel who had worked at major delivery platforms.
Fierce competition, many food delivery apps... run away
Xanh SM said it will not use short-term "money burning" tactics but focus on operational efficiency, service quality and user experience.
At a time when international startups are fleeing Southeast Asia due to lack of capital, the slow but steady strategy along with stable domestic resources could be an advantage for Xanh Ngon.
The Vietnamese market has witnessed a series of international unicorns such as Baemin, Toss, Zoomcar, and Atome having to withdraw after a short period of ineffective "money burning".
Even the famous unicorn Foodpanda will officially withdraw from Thailand on May 23, after 13 years of operation.
Meanwhile, Vietnam is emerging as a new market with a value of more than 1.8 billion USD in 2023 and could nearly double to 3.4 billion USD by 2027.
However, this is not an easy cake to eat. Baemin used to "stay" in more than 10 provinces and cities but still had to withdraw because it could not expand its market share. Grab and ShopeeFood currently account for 95% of the market share, leaving a small part for Be and other apps.
