On January 20th, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, To Thi Bich Chau, chaired a conference to review the project "Investigation, survey, and assessment of the current situation and proposal of solutions to improve the quality of full-time staff of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in localities to meet the requirements of the Front's work in the current period".

At the conference, Dr. Le Mau Nhiem, the project leader, stated that the project consists of three chapters: Chapter I: Some theoretical issues on the quality of full-time officials of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in localities to meet the requirements of Front work in the current period. Chapter II: Results of the investigation and survey on the current state of the quality of full-time officials of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in localities. Chapter III: Some solutions to improve the quality of full-time officials of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in localities to meet the requirements and tasks of Front work in the current period.

The project's objective is to investigate, survey, and clarify the current state of the quality of full-time staff of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in localities. Based on this, it proposes solutions to improve the quality of full-time staff of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at the provincial, district, and commune levels in the current period. Therefore, the implementation of the project "Investigation, survey, assessment of the current situation, and proposal of solutions to improve the quality of full-time staff of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in localities to meet the requirements of the Front's work in the current period" is necessary and urgent, with profound theoretical and practical significance. The survey results are of great importance, providing the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front with a scientific basis to propose solutions to improve the quality of full-time staff of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, serving the renewal of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's activities in the current period.

At the conference, members of the Acceptance Council all agreed that the development of the Front's cadre at all levels, especially at the grassroots, still has limitations in terms of capacity and qualifications, and is not yet up to par with the requirements and tasks in the new situation. These issues highlight the need for practical solutions to improve the quality of full-time Front cadres in localities. Furthermore, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels need to strengthen the implementation of solutions that are appropriate to the specific characteristics of each locality and the authority delegated by the Central Committee, especially in the training and development of Front cadres.

Speaking at the conference, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, To Thi Bich Chau, said that this is a difficult project because the topics related to the position and role of full-time Fatherland Front officials at the local level are very broad. However, the project team has conducted in-depth research and has come up with specific solutions.

Appreciating the research results of the project, Vice President To Thi Bich Chau noted that the project was implemented using scientific models, ensuring the quality and reliability of the data and its universality across regions for the target groups. Furthermore, the project leader needs to conduct further research to ensure the project makes a better contribution to the work of the Fatherland Front in the future. In addition, the role of Fatherland Front officials at the commune level in implementing soft skills in propaganda and mobilization needs to be clarified. Based on this, appropriate proposals and recommendations should be made to ensure the project is effectively implemented in practice.

At the conference, the project "Investigation, survey, assessment of the current situation, and proposal of solutions to improve the quality of specialized staff of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in localities to meet the requirements of Front work in the current period" was approved by the acceptance council.
