In the period of 2020-2025, despite many difficulties due to fluctuations in market prices, the impact of natural disasters, epidemics, especially the Covid-19 pandemic, along with adjusting the organization of forces, dissolving and merging a number of units... the Petroleum industry, the General Department of Logistics and Engineering still closely followed reality, comprehensively implemented emulation contents, contributing significantly to the successful completion of the central political task.

Accordingly, the Petroleum industry proactively ensures adequate and timely fuel for training, combat readiness (SSCĐ), drills, sports, parades, marches and other unexpected tasks. The work of establishing demand and allocating fuel quotas is carried out in accordance with regulations and is strictly ensured. Many warehouses and gas stations are renovated and upgraded on schedule and according to plan; safety assurance regimes are strictly maintained.

PTTĐ also recognized many initiatives and technical improvements, contributing to improving the quality of professional work. Every year, the industry proactively coordinates to guide units in implementing the petroleum plan, strengthening inspection and re-inspection in the management and use of petroleum. With these achievements, many collectives and individuals have been awarded by the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Trong Thien commended and congratulated the achievements of the Petroleum industry and units with high achievements in the Program "Management and use of petroleum safely, economically and effectively" in the period 2020 - 2025.

To successfully complete the tasks in the coming time, Major General Nguyen Trong Thien requested the Petroleum industry to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement Resolution No. 1658-NQ/QUTW dated December 20, 2022 of the Central Military Commission on military logistics work until 2030 and the following years; promote PTTĐ in a practical and effective direction, contributing to ensuring adequate petroleum for combat readiness tasks, search and rescue, natural disaster prevention and control and other unexpected tasks.

At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees and commanders at all levels in the management and safe and economical use of petroleum; build and replicate advanced models. Focus on training and fostering to improve the management and technical skills of petroleum industry staff; promote technical innovation initiatives, build a strong and standardized industry, contributing to the effective implementation of the emulation movement "The Military Logistics Industry follows Uncle Ho's teachings" in the new situation.

On the same afternoon, the General Department of Logistics and Engineering closed the 2025 petroleum training conference. Through assessment, the results of the cognitive test in the form of multiple choice tests showed that 100% of officers and employees directly working on petroleum in agencies and units achieved good and excellent results. This is a favorable basis for officers and employees after training to apply their knowledge to perform petroleum tasks at the unit.
