Building Dak Lak College into a high-quality vocational training facility

On the morning of September 5, teachers and students of Dak Lak College attended the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training) and held the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year.

Dak Lak College has 17 college majors, 19 intermediate majors and 14 elementary majors.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the school trained 3,312 students, including 61 university students, 546 college students, 1,555 intermediate students, 117 primary students, 75 vocational students and 958 A1 driver students.

Delegates and teachers and students of Dak Lak College attended the opening ceremony.

In addition, the school cooperated with the National Defense and Security Education Center (Tay Nguyen University) to sign a contract to train 182 students in National Defense and Security Education; and cooperated with Vinh University of Technical Education to train 61 students in university transfer.

The school has cooperated with many enterprises to develop programs, curricula and training; sending students to practice at enterprises to gain practical experience and improve their skills. Thanks to that, students graduate with high skills, meeting the requirements of the labor market.

In scientific research and creative activities, the school has assigned the task of implementing 10 school-level scientific research topics, including 2 key school-level research topics.

Representatives of Dak Lak College received sponsorship to award scholarships to disadvantaged students.

Ms. Tran Thi Minh Ly, Vice Principal in charge of Dak Lak College, said that the school aims to build and develop into a high-quality vocational training and practice facility in the Central Highlands region. In the new school year 2025-2026, the school sets out key tasks and solutions to perfect the school's organizational structure when implementing the merger, improving the effectiveness of vocational education management; innovating school governance; developing the team of teachers and managers; improving enrollment and vocational training; innovating political, ideological, ethical education, national defense and security education, physical education, and school health. At the same time, modernizing vocational education, creating breakthroughs in human resource training, especially high-quality human resources associated with scientific research and innovation...

On the occasion of the opening of the new school year, the school cooperated with businesses and sponsors to award scholarships "Raising dreams of vocational study" to 70 students in difficult circumstances, with a total cost of 70 million VND.
