Returning lost property to Hai Phong citizens at the Exhibition of 80 years of national achievements

Security forces at the 80-year National Achievements Exhibition returned lost property to visitors.

The exhibition “80 years of journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness” at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ) has attracted millions of visitors in recent days. There is a beautiful story about honesty and responsibility that has left a deep impression on many people.

According to information from the Exhibition Organizing Committee, on the afternoon of September 5, while patrolling the P5 parking lot area, Mr. Chu Quang Cuong, a security guard from the VHOCP1 Security Department, discovered a turquoise women's handbag left on a chair on the sidewalk, unattended. After reporting to the commander, the security force conducted an inspection and discovered that the bag contained many important documents and assets, including: citizen identification card, passport, health insurance card, 5 bank cards all under the name Nguyen Thi Vai (born in 1971, from Hai Phong), more than 50 million VND in cash, gold and some other documents.

From the phone number on the receipt in the bag, the security guard quickly contacted Ms. Vai. At exactly 2:12 p.m. the same day, she returned to the parking lot and was given back all of her belongings.

She emotionally shared on her personal Facebook page: “Today, I went to the National Exhibition Fair Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi) and forgot a bag containing many documents and cash worth about 50 million. But luckily, I met some enthusiastic and kind security guards who picked it up and contacted them to return it in full, without missing anything. Sincere thanks!”
