
In Hue , floodwaters have overflowed the Km14 section of the highway from Hue to Da Nang, making it impossible for vehicles to pass. In the inner city, many roads such as Dap Da - Nguyen Sinh Cung, Bui Thi Xuan Street, Truong Trinh Street, Cau Lon - Bui Thi Xuan are deeply flooded... and continue to rise. Students across the city were given a day off on October 27 to avoid the flood.

According to the Hue City Hydrometeorological Station, heavy rain continued throughout the city last night at a record level. For example, the measuring station at Bach Ma recorded 817mm of rain within 24 hours. On October 27, rain continued to pour down in the West of Da Nang, Quang Nam , Quang Ngai, and Hue with total rainfall ranging from 250 - 500mm, with some places reaching over 700mm.

Along with the rising river water, the three large hydroelectric reservoirs in Hue will continue to release regulated spillways to ensure dam safety. Therefore, it is forecasted that at 10am on October 27, floods on rivers in Hue will continue to rise, peak and remain at high levels, in which the Bo River and Huong River will rise above alert level 3; water levels on other rivers are also rising rapidly.
On the morning of October 27, the Hue City Civil Defense Command issued urgent dispatch No. 32/CD-BCH-SNNPTNT, requesting the People's Committees of communes and wards to urgently deploy response plans for each type of natural disaster (floods, landslides, etc.) according to the 4 on-site motto.

Authorities urgently evacuated people from disaster areas to safe places according to the existing plan, paying special attention to prioritizing evacuation and ensuring the safety of children, pregnant women, the elderly, and people with disabilities. The army and police are ready with forces and means to rescue people.
