Phu Quoc Island is the only representative from Southeast Asia, along with Big Sky in the US, Okinawa in Japan and Sardinia in Italy. The ranking was published according to a report published by Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo, based on more than 24,000 searches by international travelers.
According to travel expert Melanie Fish of Expedia Group, Phu Quoc is increasingly attracting tourists thanks to its pristine beauty, rich marine ecosystem and the strong development of environmentally friendly resort services.
In recent years, Phu Quoc has aimed to develop green and sustainable tourism, helping the pearl island affirm its position as a leading regional destination for both vacationers and explorers .
With 150 km of coastline, Phu Quoc owns the most beautiful beaches such as Bai Dai, Ganh Dau, Bai Thom, along with a biosphere reserve recognized by UNESCO, where visitors can immerse themselves in tropical forests, waterfalls and rich flora and fauna - one of the core values that makes Phu Quoc different from other destinations in the region.
Recognition from international travel sites is proof of Phu Quoc's increasingly solid position on the world tourism map, opening up the prospect of a strong breakthrough in 2026 and the following years.
