The 2025 Golden Harvest Festival of Soong Co will be organized by the People's Committee of Dong Ngu commune (Quang Ninh province) on November 1st and 2nd. This is an important event in the local tourism development plan for 2025.
The 2025 Golden Harvest Festival in Dong Ngu commune will welcome visitors to check in and admire the golden terraced rice fields, listen to the captivating Soong Co melodies, watch reenactments of the beliefs and customs of the San Chi and Dao ethnic groups; participate in traditional sports competitions such as spinning tops, tug-of-war, and stick pushing; cheer on friendly matches of the San Chi women's football team; experience community tourism in traditional brick houses; watch the Tac Xinh dance of the San Chay people; participate in culinary feast competitions, pound rice cakes, and decorate straw scarecrows…
As part of the festival, a series of unique cultural and artistic activities will also take place at the San Chi Cultural Center (Khe Luc village, Dong Ngu commune) and other tourist and cultural sites in the commune.
With a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, the 2025 Golden Harvest Festival of Soong Co region is organized to continue preserving, promoting, and showcasing the cultural identity of the San Chi ethnic group; to create a beautiful impression for tourists of the golden harvest season in the highlands and tourist destinations in Dong Ngu commune; thereby creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, motivating the people to raise awareness of preserving cultural identity in conjunction with tourism development. This is also an activity that contributes to the development of a rich local culture; taking cultural values and people as the foundation and intrinsic strength to ensure sustainable development.
