International watercolor exhibition 'Journey of connection'

On the afternoon of October 25, the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature in collaboration with IWS Vietnam and IWS Laos co-organized the international watercolor painting exhibition 'Connecting Journey'.

The exhibition brings together 184 works by artists from more than 20 countries and territories.

The exhibition honors international cultural and artistic values, connecting the global watercolor artist community in the spirit of exchange and creative cooperation. At the heritage space of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, the works bring about a dialogue between art and culture, between tradition and modernity, expressing the desire to blend contemporary art with heritage.

The event marks the friendly cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in the field of art, continuing the international exchange activities of IWS in the ASEAN region.

Mr. Le Xuan Kieu, Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam said: “The Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam has always been a place to honor knowledge and creativity. We are pleased to accompany the exhibition 'Journey of Connection' to bring watercolor art, a delicate and familiar art form, closer to the public, contributing to spreading the spirit of friendship and cooperation in the region”.

Within the framework of the exhibition (from October 25 to November 10, 2025), the public will experience art activities such as: Demo drawing performance, long painting, workshops "Traditional conical hat drawing", "Do painting", "Collage and unique printing".
