The exhibition features 184 works by artists from more than 20 countries and territories.
The exhibition celebrates international cultural and artistic values, connecting the global community of watercolor artists in a spirit of exchange and creative collaboration. Set within the heritage space of the Temple of Literature - National University, the artworks create a dialogue between art and culture, between tradition and modernity, reflecting a desire to blend contemporary art with heritage.
This event marks the friendly cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in the field of arts, continuing the international exchange activities of IWS in the ASEAN region.
Mr. Le Xuan Kieu, Director of the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giám Cultural and Scientific Activities Center, said: “Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giám has always been a place that honors knowledge and creativity. We are delighted to partner with the 'Journey of Connection' exhibition to bring watercolor art, a refined and accessible art form, closer to the public, contributing to spreading the spirit of friendship and cooperation in the region.”
