Recognizing that human resources in tourism play a crucial role and determine the quality of service, a pressing requirement for the local tourism industry today, Mr. Pham Ba Hung, M.Sc., expressed his view: "I don't think Hue lacks high-quality human resources, but it is indeed experiencing a shortage, especially in senior management personnel. In reality, many highly skilled professionals from Hue are leaving for other localities, while recruiting senior personnel to Hue is not easy. This is a story where other localities are able to utilize and exploit high-quality human resources, while businesses and organizations in Hue lack the attractiveness to attract and retain them. This relates to appropriate incentive policies, especially salary mechanisms and income for employees."

From her perspective, author Kim Oanh, in her article "Bringing Hue Home ," shares the story of young people exporting Hue cakes.

In the ancient capital of Hue, under the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945), Hue was renowned for its cakes, a refined blend of royal and folk cuisine . The term "Hue cakes" is not just a general name for dozens of traditional cakes, but also an integral part of Hue's soul. "Hue cake culture" has become a unique heritage, both elegant and rustic. Each cake carries stories of history, the skillful hands, and the spirit of the artisans.

Exporting Hue cakes to the US, therefore, also means "exporting" the image of Hue, Hue culture – a direct, visual marketing channel using tangible products, embodying the saying, "Seeing is believing, and trying is even better." When tens of tons of Hue cakes are distributed through various channels, many local people will come into contact with Hue and learn about it. Exporting Hue cakes is about taking Hue further, aspirational goal to bring the essence of Hue cuisine to the world, yet the slogan that Hue One Food has adopted is "Bring Hue home." A slogan that, I believe, means that when customers buy the cakes, they are bringing Hue home…

With a similar desire for a greener, cleaner, and brighter Hue, author Nguyen Dai Vien shared stories from all over the world that are close to Hue in his article: Reusing - awakening old values, paving the way for a green Hue .

Faced with the increasing pressure of household waste volume, Hue needs to innovate its approach to urban waste management. And in the context of a circular economy becoming an inevitable trend for modern cities, reuse is not only an environmental action but also a sustainable development strategy.

Hue could also develop themed tours focusing on "reuse culture," taking visitors to long-standing secondhand shops and learning about traditional repair crafts. For this ecosystem to operate effectively, the government needs to support small businesses by setting up pilot stalls in large markets, providing skills training, and connecting them with vocational schools. In addition, the collection of bulky waste needs to be reformed towards sorting for reuse. Organizing quick sorting areas at collection points would help separate valuable items from the waste stream for processing, similar to practices in many cities around the world…

“Reuse doesn't require high technology, but it needs the collaboration of the community, repairmen, businesses, and the government. With the region's tradition of frugality, the dynamism of its youth, and its unique tourism potential, Hue can become a pioneer in reuse linked to the circular economy. From old items, Hue can become a city that knows how to regenerate value and move towards a sustainable green future,” author Nguyen Dai Vien emphasized.
