Strategic "pieces" that will propel Hanoi to greater heights.

From the beginning of 2025 until now, the Hanoi City Investment and Construction Project Management Board has successively commenced construction on 7 projects crossing the Red River, including the bridges: Tu Lien, Ngoc Hoi, Van Phuc, Thuong Cat, Tran Hung Dao, Me So, and Hong Ha.
According to Dang Xuan Huan, Deputy Director of the Hanoi City Investment and Construction Project Management Board for Transportation Infrastructure, immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony, the leadership, staff, and employees focused their efforts, working without days off, sending officials to each project and locality to resolve difficulties, closely monitoring the construction sites, and striving to overcome challenges in the spirit of "5 clear points" (clear person, clear task, clear progress, clear results, clear responsibility). Thanks to this, the progress of the projects has yielded positive results.
The aforementioned projects are concrete and practical actions taken by the city government in building infrastructure, unlocking resources, contributing to achieving the growth target of over 8% in 2025, and creating momentum for double-digit growth in the following years for the capital city in particular and the whole country in general.
The National Assembly passed the amended Press Law:
A new legal framework creates favorable conditions for the development of journalism.
The National Assembly's approval of the amended Press Law with a majority vote (437 out of 440 attending delegates voted in favor) demonstrates a high level of political determination to create a strong and practical legal framework for the press to play its role in the digital age, in line with the requirements of development and integration.
In the report on the acceptance, explanation, and revision of the draft law before the National Assembly's vote, the Chairman of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee, Nguyen Dac Vinh, clarified that the phrases "leading multi-media media agency" and "leading multi-media press agency" are being used in various documents and are not the names of the agencies. They merely identify the "leading" status and "multi-media" nature of the six leading press agencies as defined in Decision No. 362/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister approving the National Press Development and Management Plan. Based on the scope of the law, which is the organization and operation of the press, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly directed the revision to "leading multi-media press agency" to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Ho Quang Loi, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Digital Media Association, stated: “After the amended Press Law is passed, the Government and relevant agencies need to promptly issue a Strategy for the development and management of the press system that allows for the establishment of key multi-media press agencies in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, similar to the model of the six key central multi-media agencies.”
Digital technology zones - A launching pad for businesses.

According to data from the Department of Information Technology Industry (Ministry of Science and Technology), there are 8 digital technology zones nationwide, concentrated in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Can Tho, with approximately 630 digital technology businesses.
Nguyen Dinh Tuan, Head of Technical Operations Department at Viettel IDC Co., Ltd. (Viettel Group), proposed that data centers (IDCs) should be identified as essential infrastructure in the national digital technology ecosystem, similar to key logistics and energy zones.
According to Nguyen Khac Lich, Director of the Department of Information Technology Industry, to promote the development of concentrated digital technology zones, the Government has established an unprecedented preferential policy framework regarding land rent exemption and personal income tax exemption.
Corporate culture enhances the quality of tourism.

According to Truong Quoc Hung, Chairman of the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club, organizing training courses to disseminate legal information on business operations, or professional courses on the application of technology in tourism management, are important aspects of building corporate culture, thereby enhancing the quality and reputation of tourism businesses.
"In the tourism industry, business culture is even more essential because tourism is a business product that encompasses diverse fields, from accommodation, destinations, cuisine, transportation… providing experiential emotions for tourists," said Mr. Truong Quoc Hung.
According to Tran Trung Hieu, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, corporate culture is the "soft power" of Vietnamese tourism. Hanoi has established common criteria and codes of conduct. However, businesses, especially in the tourism sector, need their own specific rules to collectively build a strong and effective business community.
Decentralization for the development of the Capital City

Since the establishment of the two-tiered local government system on July 1st, in addition to the central government's regulations on decentralization and delegation of power, Hanoi has been a leading locality in decentralizing and delegating power to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the administrative apparatus.
Commenting on this issue, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Nguyen Van Phong, stated that decentralization must be linked to the reform of the Party's leadership methods, in the spirit of thoroughness, effectiveness, with mechanisms for inspection, control, and evaluation of work efficiency, ensuring continuity, comprehensiveness, and synchronicity, in order to serve the people and businesses and create development for the Capital city.
Emphasizing the task of thoroughly promoting decentralization and delegation of power, Politburo member and Hanoi Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc requested that decentralization and delegation of power must be linked to digital transformation and administrative procedure reform to form a modern, professional development governance framework that better serves the people, businesses, and society, and creates development for the Capital in the new era.
