Chan Hung Commune strives to 'reach the finish line' as a model new rural area by next October

Chan Hung Commune (Hai Phong City) called on cadres, party members, and people to uphold their sense of responsibility, actively participate in supporting, contributing efforts, and striving to complete the construction of a new model rural area by next October.

Chấn Hưng commune organized the launch of the intensive month for building new rural areas in the locality.

On the morning of September 6th, Chấn Hưng commune launched the intensive campaign for building model new rural areas during the peak month.

Chấn Hưng commune was formed by merging four communes: Bắc Hưng, Nam Hưng, Đông Hưng, and Tây Hưng. Prior to the merger, Tây Hưng commune had already completed and met the standards of a model new rural area.

During the period 2024-2025, the three former communes of Bac Hung, Nam Hung, and Dong Hung will implement a model new rural development project with two groups of infrastructure projects: transportation and civil works.

By the beginning of September, the construction progress of 50 roads under the model new rural development program in Chan Hung commune had reached 70% of the plan.

As of early September, the progress of transportation infrastructure construction in the commune has reached 70% of the plan. Contractors are urgently working on roadbed construction and drainage systems, taking advantage of favorable weather conditions to pour concrete and pave the road surface. Civil engineering projects have reached 26% of the plan, with essential items such as health stations, cultural centers, and schools being prioritized for accelerated progress by the construction units, aiming for early completion and commissioning.

The leaders of Chấn Hưng commune encouraged the construction units.
