Farm vehicles still run smoothly on the highway

Images of tractors, farm trucks, homemade vehicles carrying people and goods, speeding, recklessly overtaking, emitting black smoke, making noise... are not strange images on national highways in the province. It can be said that wherever there is a need, homemade tractors will appear, including some central streets of Da Lat and Bao Loc cities.

Many agricultural vehicles regularly travel on National Highway 20, through Duc Trong district.

Resolution 32/2007/NQ-CP of the Government on the ban on the circulation of farm vehicles, homemade 3-wheel and 4-wheel vehicles has been effective since January 1, 2008. However, this type of vehicle in many localities has not shown signs of a sharp decrease, accompanied by dangers to traffic participants.

Currently, the management and handling of violations of the above-mentioned unlicensed, homemade vehicles in the locality still faces many difficulties. The main reason is that tractors are an important means of transporting agricultural products flexibly and effectively for a part of farmers. Besides, there is currently no more convenient means to replace them.
