At noon on July 10th, observations at the firing range (Song Han Port, Hai Chau District) showed that the teams were completing the installation of their fireworks. Mr. Johan Dan Erik Hollaender, team leader of Joho Pyro Professional Fireworks AB – Finland, stated, “Connecting the Global Market – Shining Bright Across Five Continents” is the theme that the Finnish fireworks team has been pursuing throughout DIFF 2024. The team will showcase this in the upcoming final night with a spectacular display of vibrant red fireworks, perfectly suited to the theme related to youth.

The Finnish fireworks team will continue with their signature style. In terms of firing technique, they will surprise the audience with an explosive display featuring fireworks from various angles – low-altitude, water-based, and high-altitude.

Musically , the performance will lead the audience through a range of emotions: starting with an animated film that evokes childhood memories and youthful feelings; followed by a song expressing self-acceptance. The third song will showcase the connection and interaction between people. The fourth song, meaning "phoenix," symbolizes giving wings to dreams and shining brightly. The performance concludes with a song wishing everyone happiness, which is also the message the team wants to convey.

“The final round is a big challenge because we are not allowed to use the products and types of fireworks we choose. However, this is a way to ensure fairness and objectivity for the two finalist teams. We have worked very hard to combine different types of fireworks to create different effects. Regarding the firing technique, we will not only showcase it in the sky but also on the water to create a truly impressive and explosive performance with approximately 10,000 fireworks of various types,” shared Johan Dan Erik Hollaender.

Meanwhile, the Liuyang Jingduan New-art Display Co.Ltd fireworks team from China also made it to the finals. According to Liang Weiming, the team leader of Liuyang Jingduan New-art Display Co.Ltd, the team had nearly two weeks to prepare for their performance. In terms of firing technique and music, they retained the distinctive characteristics of Chinese fireworks. However, this time, they will bring something different with the music. Specifically, the music will combine Eastern and Western influences to enhance its uniqueness and appeal. The melodies will be gentle and tranquil at times, and lively and energetic at others.

According to the organizers, tickets for the final night sold out very early. On average, Da Nang receives about 110-120 flights per day. On July 13th (the day of the DIFF 2024 final night), there will be approximately 150 flights, an increase of 25-35% compared to normal.
