Accordingly, during the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025, the Da Nang City Border Guard mobilized 6 ships, 20 boats and canoes along with more than 250 officers and soldiers to reasonably arrange routes on the Han River, proactively and effectively handle all unexpected situations occurring on the Han River and some key routes, ensuring absolute safety of people, weapons, equipment, vehicles and participating in rescue.
As the unit assigned by the People's Committee of Da Nang City to protect the water surface area and security, order and safety on the Han River before, during and after the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025, the city's Border Guard has proactively deployed plans to coordinate and cooperate with security forces for this major event.
Colonel Tran Tien Hien praised the units and individuals who throughout the festival had upheld their sense of responsibility in performing their assigned tasks, ensuring absolute safety for people and vehicles during the performance of their tasks; at the same time, he also pointed out some shortcomings and limitations that the units needed to overcome. On this occasion, the City Border Guard Command commended 5 groups and 9 individuals with many achievements in performing their tasks.
